Boat dock

The following practices and prices are followed in rentals (updated 2024):

• The boat slip rental season is from May 15 to September 30 (depending on weather conditions).
• Reservations will be accepted from the beginning of April, and this will be announced on the municipality’s website.
• The reserver can only book one spot, and the reservation can only be made for the specific rental period.
• The site fee is €62.00 per season (incl. VAT 24%).
• The booking fee is invoiced after the reservation, and the reservation will be canceled if the invoice is not paid by the due date.
• The renter will be notified when the key can be collected for a €20 key deposit (cash payment).
• The booking fee will be refunded via bank transfer if the renter cancels the reservation by notifying the technical department within two weeks of collecting the key and returns the key at the same time. Otherwise, the parking fee will not be refunded.
• The renter may not transfer the boat slip to a third party.
• The key must be returned at the end of the rental period, at which time the paid key deposit will be refunded.
• If the renter does not return the key or loses it, the key deposit will be retained by the municipality. The municipality also has the right to charge the renter for any costs incurred as a result.
• Keeping the boat at the boat slip and moving on the waters in the dock area is done at the renter’s own risk. The municipality does not compensate for damages except under the provisions of the Tort Liability Act.
• The tenant must ensure that the gates to the dock area are kept locked and that the area is otherwise maintained in proper condition.
• The price of a boat berth is determined according to the currently valid rate.
