Fishing and boating in Tervola

State fish managemet fee

The state fish management fee is a mandatory basic fee for fishermen who are between 18 and 69 years old and fish with lures, traps or crayfish. This means that when you fish with, for example, a fishing rod, net or gillnet, you always need to pay the fisheries management fee. The exception is fishermen who will be at least 65 years old by 31 December 2023.

Alapaakkola, Ylipaakkola, Lapiniemi, Runkauskylä and Koivukylä and Metsähallitus form a joint permit area, which starts at the Taivalkoski power plant and ends at the border of Tervola and Rovaniemi municipalities in Jaatila.
