Basic education
The municipality of Tervola has a fairly extensive school network.
Basic education is provided at Kaisajoki, Loue, and Mattinen primary schools, as well as at Lapinniemi unified school. Enrollment for the first grade of basic education must be completed annually by March 15 through Wilma.
