Tervola high school

High school education in Tervola is provided by a versatile liberal arts high school, Tervola High School. In its teaching, it takes into account the different learning conditions and needs of its students as well as the ever-changing challenges of its operating environment. Upper secondary education is seen as an important part of the municipality’s intellectual capital and local identity.

Tervola High School is a non-graded general high school, continuing the educational and developmental mission of basic education. The purpose of the high school is to provide students with broad general education and sufficient skills for further studies based on the high school curriculum, career, hobbies, and the versatile development of personality. The final certificate, matriculation examination certificate, high school diploma, and other similar demonstrations serve as proof of the knowledge and skills acquired at the high school.
