Municipal board's grants and subsidies for associations

The municipal board annually grants grants for projects that increase the attractiveness of the villages of Tervola. Assistance for projects that increase the attractiveness of villages is intended for village associations and village committees to apply for.

Projects that increase the attractiveness of villages are announced for application annually in the Tervola magazine and on the municipality’s website. The matter will also be announced on the municipality’s social media channels. Applications received outside the application period will not be considered.

Assistance is applied for using the form found below at a time that will be announced separately through the municipality’s information channels.

Where can I get information about the granting of the aid?

Grants are awarded by a decision of the municipal board. Associations will be notified of the decision by an extract from the minutes sent to the email address they provided on the form.

How is the grant paid

The grant is paid to the account specified by the village association or village committee on their form.

What needs to be done after the implementation of the project

Recipients of the grant must provide an account of how the grant was used in the manner specified in the decision. The report can be submitted using the form below for the Use of grants to improve the livability of villages, or informally by email to tervolan.kunta@tervola.fi.

The municipality of Tervola distributes annual activity grants from village activity funds to village associations and village committees operating within the municipality. The purpose of the grant is to support the activities of village associations and committees.

The grant is awarded upon application. Through the application, the aim is to verify the contact and bank details of the actors, as well as ensure that the village association or committee is actively operating. Recipients of the grant are also required to register on the Lähellä.fi website at www.lahella.fi, where the association or committee must update their contact information annually.

The application period for the grant is every year in February.

The decision to grant the subsidy is made by the administrative director through an official decision. The subsidy to be granted is €180 per village association/committee.

It is asked in the grant application to provide an email or postal address to which the decision on granting the subsidy can be sent, as well as the association’s bank account number to which any possible grant may be paid.
